That is dreadful! And bizarre. I can't imagine the post office actually delivering just a label with no box. Surely they would know something was missing? Please let us know if you find anything out.

Hello...I went down to the Post Office today and they can not help me at all...All they said was it was up to her to file a claim...
Another sad note to this already sad story...
I shipped another box that same day. (A bitty baby with about 6 outfits) and she has not received her package yet either...It's like they are both just missing!
I don't know what happened that day, but I have never had one, let alone two boxes come up missing like this...And then their is nothing I can do for these people who purchased from me...I asked 3 different people at the post office in the front, back, and the manager...and just nothing I can do!
I just think about the girls they purchased these dolls and it makes me tear up...I think about these beautiful dolls just sitting in a box in what they call 'The Dead Letter' department...Located I don't know where!
I just hope that one day, they might show up somewhere!

How about going to the USPS website and writing a complaint and asking them what you could do about it?

More Drama...
The buyer for the Bitty Baby lot has now filed a complaint against me, for the fact that she has never received her purchase...
I don't know what to do! The have frozen the funds for $282! And the sad thing is, right after she paid, I refunded her $27.50 for shipping and gave her free shipping! But did she include that? NOPE!
I know she is concern, but she emailed me in saying that she understood and has started with filing a claim with the post office, since I made sure the package was Insured. So, now my question is...If the post office is filing the Insurance claim, does she have the right to file a refund with PayPal? If the claim with the post office goes through would it be fraud if the package arrives and/or I was to be forced to refund her?
I supplied PayPal with all the information and told them I can fax a letter signed by the Manager of my Postal Department in saying I have dropped the package off and it is not my fault in the delivery.
I just don't know what else to do...But, this hours before the after thanksgiving sale...WOW! My kids Christmas's is just going to have to wait and I will be forced to pay full price now!
Like I said, I am not mad at her...just the situation is so messy and does not want to clean it's self up!
I am just so sad over here!

Oh, how horrible!!!! When I saw update, I got excited and thought you had a happy ending and that Samantha was found. I sure hope you end up with a happy ending still!!! I am so sorry this is happening to you and at such rotten timing!!!
I am not getting any deals myself either . My husband was supposed to get a check last week for some computer work he did for a company and it never came and now we might not get it until the next billing cycle next month.
I sure hope they find your dolls!!!!

Justbeingme...the buyer sounds vindictive. I would email her and tell her she froze your kids Christmas money. Maybe she'll cancel the complaint.
Also...just a tip...it's always a good idea to transfer your paypal money to your checking account as soon as possible. I never feel comfortable with that money just sitting there. I really don't trust it.
